For a 'Missionary Disciple' in a challenging world

From July 15-19, the formators of the Clerics Regular Minor worldwide (Adorno Fathers and Brothers) met again and successfully concluded a workshop on their formation manual with the update from the RFIS (Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis) and other timely Church documents.

This workshop was in response to the call of the Church to update and restructure our present formation manual according to the more current and modern challenges of formation which priests and religious face. This putting together of our updated formation manual thus represents a response to prepare our CRM candidates with a clear formation itinerary to the religious life for the present and future challenges of evangelical life and ministry.

We proudly accomplished to set our itinerary of formation from the beginning stages of vocation promotion until the time of ongoing formation. Our goal is to form a “Missionary Disciple”, according to the charism of the Clerics Regular Minor. Our hope is then to form men whose lives are imbued with Christ. One becomes an effective missionary by becoming a faithful disciple.

Our special thanks to Fr. Augusto Bautista Angeles for his kindness and hard work to help us accomplished this great if the task from Italy back to the Philippines. To all our participants from different continents of the world I aporeciate your work and your passion to work on our formation. To our seminarians who help to provide us with all we need, specially the spiritual needs doing adoration while we are in the workshop, Molte grazie! Like what Fr. Jason mentioned in his reflection wirh us, gratitude is the memory of the heart. We do this in remembrance of HIM. AMRG!
